The Small Print

Cruises are rain or shine. The Colonial Belle has both indoor and outdoor seating, however indoor spaces are limited and not all guests will be able to be on the lower enclosed deck for cruises. Saving seats and/or tables is not permitted. The music, included snack service and cash bar can be enjoyed by all guests on board. Please note that guests should come prepared for weather conditions in case of rain or cool temperatures. No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure at 6:15 p.m. Cruises depart promptly at 6:30 p.m. from 400 Packett’s Landing in Fairport. Free parking is available at this location. The Colonial Belle is handicap accessible for wheelchairs and motorized scooters. Specific questions regarding access should be directed to The Colonial Belle. No outside food or drink is permitted on board, and the Colonial Belle is a non-smoking vessel. Tickets purchased will be mailed to customers up to five days before each sailing. After that time, tickets will be available at The Colonial Belle beginning at 6 p.m. the evening of the cruise.

Here are some questions that we’ve gotten regarding the cruises. If you would like to know more, e-mail

Q – What kind of food will be served on board?
A – Because we rely on donated food items, we typically don’t know the menu until just before the cruise. We assure you that you won’t go away hungry, but if you are hoping for a “full dinner,” you may want to get a bite to eat before we set sail. Most of our guests are satisfied with our offerings, and leave full.

Q – Do you serve gluten free food?
A – While we respect the dietary limitations of our guests, we simply can’t promise that the food we serve will fit within gluten free and other dietary and allergy requirements. If you anticipate any issues, we recommend that you dine before joining us on board.

Q – Can I drive the boat?
A – No. If you hit something or someone, there’s a ton of paperwork we’d have to complete.

Q – May I bring outside food and drink on board?
A – No, The Colonial Belle prohibits outside food and beverage from being brought on board.

Q – Can I buy liquor, wine and/or beer on board?
A – Yes. The Colonial Belle offers a full cash bar, accepting cash and credit card.

Q – We are celebrating a special occasion. Can we bring a cake, or baked goods to celebrate?
A – Please call the Jazz90.1 offices to arrange this. Cakes and pastry items must come from a licensed bakery (proof must be provided), and this must be arranged in advance.

Q – Can we bring pets on board?
A – No. Scruffy will need to stay on shore, unless he’s a registered service animal.

Q – Is the Colonial Belle handicapped accessible?
A – Yes. The boat allows for you to use your scooter, wheelchair etc. on board, and a ramp is available for boarding. Priority boarding will be given to these guests who need extra time.

Q – What if I miss the boat?
A – We’ll wave to you as we pass by. Sorry, there’s no refunds of exchanges on tickets. Please allow plenty of time to get to the boat before the 6:30 p.m. sailing time.

Q – Where will the live music be on board?
A – Weather permitting, the bands are always on the top, open air deck. Not everyone can sit on that deck, so we provide ample sound support so that you’ll hear the great music from anywhere on board.

Q – Is smoking permitted on The Colonial Belle?
A – No. The Colonial Belle has a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy.

Q – Can I save/reserve seats?
A – We’re sorry, but saving seats on board is not permitted. Seating is first come, first serve.

Q – Are you SURE I can’t drive the boat?
A – Well, are you a member of Jazz90.1? (Just kidding…)
