Lynda Wildman

In the summer of 2007, Lynda walked through the doors of Jazz90.1 to volunteer for the first time.  With no previous broadcasting experience, and relying on acting experience and voice-over training, she jumped into learning radio.  The journey began by learning production and board operation enabling her to step up to the microphone as a fill in host for various DJ’s.  This was a fun way for Lynda to learn about jazz and also listen to over 5,000 CD’s. Volunteering behind the scenes also gave her knowledge of the day to day operations of the station, as well.

Lynda Wildman volunteers Monday thru Friday hosting a midday jazz show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, putting all that show prep and counting to good use.  Lynda added another “hat” to her head when she took a staff position as office assistant to Station Manager Rob Linton following Jack Mindy’s retirement in 2015. In her spare time, you can also find Lynda at a few arts and crafts shows around town selling her fiber art. You can contact Lynda Wildman by e-mailing
