Listen LiveOne of the Friday evening hosts on Jazz 90.1, Gary takes pleasure in helping people start their weekends off on the right foot. He’s been listening to all types of music for as long as he can remember and has a love of the jazz genre.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York by Jamaican parents you can sense some of the flavour of his earlier environment in his musical selections as well as his accent. His parents and four siblings are still in or close to the “Big City”, but he calls Rochester home. He states “sure; there’s plenty going on in N.Y.C. but there are also a wealth of musical opportunities here in the area that people should not overlook. One of those unique opportunities is Jazz 90.1 and I’m glad to have been a part of it for seventeen years.”
